We have arrived @ Pinelake where we will be spending the next 4days...
Apparently our online booking did not go through, so when we arrived I went straight thru to the Managers office only to find out they running a 20% Flash Special for today only :) God works in amazing ways.
Believe it or not when booking in @ Paradise Heads in Knysna, they gave us the same room Luceen and I stayed in 5yrs ago when we got engaged on the John Ben. O how much things have changed since then, 2kids, a house and some weight gained :P
Last night on our way to Spur for Monday Burger Night Special, we drove past the Oyster Festival and decided to go see what its all about before we hit Spur.
Let's just say we never ended up @ Spur, we spent the night @ the festival under nice heaters trying all the stuff they had, from Pancakes to Kudu Goulash to Indian Curries to Hot Sauces which came with a indemnity form, it was awesome!!! Even the cold weather and rain did not keep the masses away.

The Bay Leaf @ MetLife Plaza makes one mean bfast... yummy and filling!! I'm coming back here for sure.

On the 25 Feb 2014 Michaela turned 4yrs, mom and I took half day and had lotsa fun with her and Micah.
Lastnight our little puppy went to heaven. He went by many names:
Puppy
Moses
Spot
Champ
Russel
It was a sad moment for us all, as he really became part of our family. Strangest part is that when we came home, Micah said "puppy gone". At that time he was still alive just very weak.
Luceen and I then rushed him to the vet leaving the kids downstairs by ma, but he died on the way to vet.
When we got home Michaela asked "where is puppy?", "Is he at the vet?"
We then told her went to heaven she just laid there face down on the bed (see pic). I then asked her what she was thinking and she said "I think its me dad, I gave puppy food with ants on". Where is the parents manual chapter for this I thought? I then had to convince her it had nothing to do with her... She has such a love for animals.
Rest in peace Puppy, we miss you.
