Big Sister Michaela

Everyday I look at Michaela I marvellous at how quickly she has grown into this BIG SISTER. From helping mom with Malachi to teaching Micah how to draw and do funny dances. In the hospital she even helped mom walk to the toilet by holding her hand and making sure she's okay.

We love you our little I mean BIG GIRL.

My first outing - a trip to Bay West

Today I went out of the house for the first time, and it was to Bay West... The newest and greatest mall that just opened in PE yesterday.
Imagine a mall with the latest and greatest everything, from toilet technology to an ice rink, yes you heard me correct it even has an ice rink.
That's me in the pram

The handryer in the toilet - looks like something from a sci-fi movie

I told you Bay West has an ice rink

Malachi turns 1week

Today Malachi turned one week old... He definitely fits right into our home.

It just made me realize once again how loved we are by our heavenly father, cause even thou he cries at night and make dirty nappies we still love him so much... there's nothing special he needs to do to make us love him, we just do.

In the same way God loves us regardless of what we do or don't do, He's just a loving father and loves us unconditionally as Jeremiah 31v3 clearly states:

Long ago the Lord said to Israel:
“I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.

Or how about the way The Message puts it:

God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will.
Expect love, love, and more love!

Then Romans just seals the deal by saying:

Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So Malachi and Micah and Michaela know this, that you are loved by Dad, Mom and God. And even you reading this, nothing can separate you from the love of God.

For Doctor Ferreira

Mom and dad decided to bless the doctor by printing a canvas of memories we had with him.

So we took the best photos from Michaela, Micah and Malachis birth and printed it on a canvas for him.

I would recommend Dr Ferreira to everyone he is truly one of a kind doctor.

The real hero of my birth - Mommy

Without a doubt my mommy is much more braver than my dad when it comes to giving birth. She did it with a smile on her face.

Thank you for carrying me for 9months mommy.

Michaela & Micah meet Malachi

I cannot put to words the excitement Michaela & Micah had on our way to the hospital to meet their baby brother (made a video for you)... they could not stop kissing and touching you. Even putting them to bed earlier they still kept on talking about their baby brother. Micah even said "Dad, can I tell you something... Malachi is so cute".

They even wore there special t-shirts just for you that says "Here comes the sun".

The day outside

The day you were born it was a beautiful sunny windless day outside.

My feet and details...

Malachi has arrived

At exactly 08:45 you arrived into the loving arms of your beautiful mom and handsome dad.

Weight: 3.82kg      Length: 52cm

You came out of the womb ready to eat... and has not stopped yet - that's my boy :)
Doctors said you one of the cleanest babies (was like you were bathed in the womb) to come out of the womb and we gonna keep it that way.

Can't wait for your sisters to meet you...

The morning of your birth

The time has just reached 06:30 and mom is taking a nap in the labour ward.

We've been up since 04:15 this morning as we needed to be at the hospital by 5AM. The nurses did some checks on you and mommy before the Caesar which will take place at 07:30 according to plan. Glory be to God!!

Ecclessiates 11v5: As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.

Dr Ferreira has been delivering babies for over 21yrs, with an average of 350 babies a year. He really knows what he is doing.

Btw, you now weigh 4kgs... session don't tell mommy ;)

3days to go - What's in a name

Will only three days left before you leave the womb, we still debating as to what your name should be... The current options are:
-Daniel
-Joash
-Jethro
-Malachi
-Joshua

Majority seems to like Malachi. Considering its meaning, I guess Malachi it will be.

Today we celebrated mothers day, I am sure you noticed all the commotion going on this morning... that was me and the girls surprising mom with breakfast and lots a gifts, even you were very active in mums tummy. Of course I did video record it all so you can watch it in the future.
Luckily you'll be in time for fathers day ; )

5days to go - Micah says bye to her bottle

With only 5days to go before you arrive, Micah decided to put an end to her much loved bottle by actually throwing it in the bin. It was a huge surprise to us all...

6days to go - You gonna miss the womb

Next week this time you will be held in the loving arms of your mother and father and of course two sisters. Enjoy the last few days in mom's womb.

I am sure it's hard for you to believe there can be life after/outside the womb. You currently weighing 3.3kg and love eating Nosh chocolates... or maybe it's just mom telling us you love it ; )

Psalm 139v9: For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

7days to go - Dear Malachi

We decided to do something each day from now until you arrive... So we starting by each one saying something to you.

Michaela: "I love you Malachi, and I miss you. I'm gonna change your nappy when you come."

Micah: "Love you so much, I'm gonna let you drink the bottle."

Mom: "Please stop kicking your sisters when they lay on my tummy. We can't wait to meat you."

Dad: "Can't wait to meet my boy, gonna spoil you rotten"
